Acura NSX Concept launched at NAIAS 2012
After a waiting of many years, Honda finally released a successor for the mighty NSX at this year’s Detroit Auto Show, with promises for the production version to go on the market within the next three years.
The car will be assembled in Ohio and will feature the new SH-AWD (Super Handling All Wheel Drive) system. More details and footage of the launching after the break.
Takanobu Ito, the president and CEO of Honda Motor Co Ltd declared that: “This Sport Hybrid SH-AWD system will make NSX the ultimate expression of Acura’s idea to create synergy between man and machine. The NSX will make the driver one with the car to enhance dynamic driving abilities without getting in the way. Like the first NSX, we will again express high performance through engineering efficiency. In this new era, even as we focus on the fun to drive spirit of the NSX, I think a supercar must respond positively to environmental responsibilities.”
